Our Mission Trip Thank you to all our members who supported our mission trip through prayers, donations, and time. We had 24 members and friends of First Evangelical Lutheran Church answered a call to travel to Ocean Springs, Mississippi to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. The group worked hard as we vinyl sided a home, built a roofed deck, and also cleaned up a yard and painted trim on a home. Our group enjoyed time to bond with one another at Camp Victor when we were not working or eating!! There is still much work to be done in the rebuilding process, so we are looking to travel again with the South Western PA Synod in January 2009! In the meantime, pray for the people who are waiting patiently for volunteers to help them rebuild their homes and lives!! (Click on a photo to enlarge)
