Mission
After five
mission trips Ocean Springs, Mississippi, the camp we have been staying
at was closed. However, as a congregation we are still committed
to helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina because we continue to see
first hand how many homes are still in need of repair. So in
January 2011, a mission team travelled to New Orleans and stayed at Camp
Restore. Though the camp was very different and we missed the town
of Ocean Springs, we were blessed to work together several times; our
crew is blessed with great finishing carpentry skills which were well
used this year. Continue to keep all who were affected by
Hurricane Katrina in your prayers because many are still rebuilding
their lives and homes. May God bless our work and the work of all
who help in disaster recovery!
Mission Statement:
